A Unique Event
DaVinci Con - The Original Renaissance Convention (TM) is the first of its kind. So much more than your usual Ren Fest, The Original Renaissance Convention is a place to learn how to be a part of faires, learn about the history and skills of the period, and enjoy a Renaissance Festival all at once. Our indoor venue has room for a faire site, full jousting arenas, as well as classrooms for panels, and convention floor for groups and people to promote their organizations and themselves.
The Festival
DaVinci Con offers all the excitement of a Renaissance Faire. Stroll the period village and shop your favorite craft booths. Take in a juggling or musical show at one of the many stages. Watch a spectacular jousting tournament or watch the falconer fly their birds. Sample delicious food and drink, and all while interacting with a costumed cast that brings to life the period of the Renaissance.
The Convention
Like what you’ve seen at the festival? Stop by our convention floor and visit the organizations, entertainers and other groups that make it all possible. Learn how to be a part of the faire by sitting in on a panel, or take a class to learn a skill like juggling or costuming. Hear from the experts about the history of the period, how to become involved yourself, or just techniques that will make your next trip to a festival more fun.

With 600 acres holding 19 show rings, a 4,000 seat Coliseum, 8 barns, cross country and combined carriage driving courses, a tractor pull, campgrounds, special event spaces, and full café services, the Virginia Horse Center offers a safe, diverse, and exciting facility.
